Founded in the historic Valentine Hall building in Addo, which had long served as the community hall, The Travel Addo Farmstall was created after the Valentine Hall had been inactive for several years. The story behind this project is one of community support and empowerment. The Farmstall was established as a platform for residents in and around the Addo area to sell and showcase homemade products, curios, and arts & crafts. It serves as a vital resource for small household businesses, helping them supplement their income by providing a space to display and sell their creations. A true testament to community spirit and entrepreneurship.

The Travel Addo Farmstall operates on a consignment basis, where community members provide their products, and the proceeds are paid back to them. In addition to showcasing homemade goods and crafts, the Farmstall features a Thrift Store section, where visitors and local residents can donate gently used clothing and household items. These donations are then resold, with the proceeds or any overflow being directed towards various local organizations that support community members in need. This initiative not only supports small businesses but also helps uplift the entire Addo community by giving back to those in need
